In a week where the club appointed Steve Phillips as their new goalkeeping coach, Polish stopper Artur Krysiak produced a man of the match display as the Glovers played out a goalless draw with Cheltenham Town at Huish Park.

The result means Yeovil are unbeaten in three home games and they have the chance to extend that to four when Morecambe visit on Tuesday.

“We’re disappointed with our attacking play,” Way told iFollow Glovers.

“A while ago we probably would have conceded because they put us under pressure and had one or two chances but I thought the way we defended at times was very good.

“Artur Krysiak’s display was very, very good having brought in a new goalkeeping coach this week. Some of the saves he pulled off were very effective.”

He added: “We knew it wasn’t going to be easy and they caused us a lot of threats.

“With the pressure they put us under, it was difficult to get up the pitch.

“Our standards have to be better than that and players have to be a little bit more patient on the ball and not panic.

“We have to look at the positives, reflect and try and get three points on Tuesday.”
