Yeovil Town Football Club and Yeovil Town Holdings Ltd have submitted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate with regard to their planning application for a community playing field and recreation use at Lufton.

The appeal was filed at the Inspectorate on Friday following a refusal decision by South Somerset District Council in September.  

Following the appeal submission, Planning Agent, David Bell, said: “An appeal has been submitted which now has to go through the validation process. We have asked for a hearing rather than written representations or a full inquiry. 

"Once validated, the appeal will be heard by an impartial Inspector.”
