On a drizzly afternoon at Huish Park it only took Jaiyesimi six minutes to find the net in his first home appearance for the green and whites.

The Stags equalised through Craig Davies only three minutes later before Yoann Arquin netted in the 17th minute against his former side to restore the home advantage.

However, Matt Preston equalised less than ten minutes later which proved to be the final goal of the game.

But off the mark in just his second Town outing, the versatile attacker is keeping his goal scoring targets to himself.

Speaking to iFollow Glovers he said: “I’m over the moon, I just wanted to help the team out and get a goal. I’m relishing the opportunity I just want to keep my starting place and keep on working hard.

“We should’ve got more from the game but we’ll go again now on Tuesday.

“I have personal targets but I’m going to keep them to myself and we’ll see what happens come the end of the season.”

The 20-year-old added that the players are excited for the Carabao Cup tie against the Villains: “I’m really looking forward to it as are all the boys, so it’s going to be good. We’ll go again after Saturday.

“It’s a chance for me and us to impress against a side of Championship quality.”
