Matt Worthington is confident results will come despite a recent dip in form.

After going unbeaten in three games, fortunes have switched for the Glovers leading to three consecutive defeats.

Speaking to YTTV, the midfielder said: "I know we’re coming off the back of three losses, but I don’t think we’ve played badly, we’ve played well.

"We had a lot of chances on Monday (vs. Dagenham & Redbridge) so if we stay positive the results will come. We have had a few honest discussions on what needs to improve and defending as a team, stopping crosses coming into our box and dealing with the aerial presence of players in this league.

"I think attacking wise we need to be better, on Monday we were much better at it. Personally, for me, I think I need to make more chances, as attacking players we need to create and if we can do that, I think we will be alright."

The green and whites host Notts County on Saturday (3pm) with the hosts hoping for a return to winning ways.

After coming down with the Magpies from the EFL last season, Worthington is anticipating an entertaining game.

"Last weekend and Monday were frustrating but it’s an opportunity for us, to be back at home and put things right.

"Obviously they’re in a similar position to us, dropping out of the league last season, it will be a difficult game.

"Everyone’s got different players now, for Yeovil it’s pretty much a whole new squad and it’s the same for them so we’re not going to know too much about them. Obviously, we will do our homework and see what their strengths and weaknesses are.

"Hopefully it will be a good one for the supporters to watch, I’m looking forward to it."
