Town are back in action for the first time in a fortnight as Forest Green Rovers head to Huish Park on Good Friday (3pm).

Darren Way's side will be looking to move three games unbeaten in Sky Bet League Two, following a draw at Exeter and precious victory at Colchester United.

Hoping to further increase the gap between themselves and the bottom two, Friday's encounter will be the third match between the two sides this season.

In a dramatic trip to the New Lawn back in August the Glovers ended up 4-3 losers, before exacting revenge with a comfortable 2-0 Checkatrade Trophy win at Huish Park in January.

Aiming for successive wins over Rovers, Town will be boosted by the return from international duty of Bevis Mugabi, Rhys Browne, Corey Whelan and Shaun Donnellan, who return to Somerset in time to feature.

Dan Alfei, Nathan Smith, Artur Krysiak, James Bailey (all knee) and Jake Gray (ankle) remain sidelined, with Oscar Gobern and Connor Smith close to a return.

For Mark Cooper's side, they make the short journey south after picking up their first win in five last weekend.

Play-off chasing Mansfield were dispatched 2-0 as the Gloucestershire outfit moved within two points of the Glovers.

Top scorer Christian Doidge (21 goals) could return from injury, or Forest Green's frontline could be a former Glover affair with Reuben Reid (five goals) and Tahvon Campbell (two goals).

Friday will be the first league meeting between the two sides at Huish Park since 2003.

Kirk Jackson scored the only goal of the game as Town took a step closer to promotion from the National League.

Overall in league meetings, the Glovers have five wins compared to Forest Green's four.

John Brooks (Leicestershire) will be the man in the middle at Huish Park.

It will be Mr Brooks' second trip to Somerset this season, having overseen Town's 2-0 Emirates FA Cup win over Bradford in January.

The Leicestershire official will be assisted by Christopher Husband (Worcestershire) and Christopher Wade (Hampshire) with Sam Allison (Wiltshire) acting as fourth official.

The pre-match thoughts of Tom James and manager Darren Way can be viewed later today on iFollow Glovers.
