Town midfielder Jake Gray has been ruled out for for the rest of the season with an ankle injury picked up against Carlisle United at the end of February.

The 22-year-old was stretchered off in first half stoppage time after sustaining the injury in the process of crossing the ball from the left flank.

Twisting awkwardly, Gray suffered ruptured ankle ligaments and after undergoing surgery on Wednesday has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Making 37 appearances in his maiden campaign as a Glover, the former Luton Town midfielder scored four goals including three in Sky Bet League Two.

All at YTFC wish Jake a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch.
