Striker Korrey Henry has been snapped up by Town signing a one-year deal at Huish Park with a club option of extending for a further year.
The 18-year-old, a product of West Ham's Academy, has been on trial with Glovers and under the guise of 'Trialist A' netted in the 1-1 draw at Bristol City before featuring against Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle.
Adding to Darren Way's striking options the versatile attacker can also operate out wide or in midfield having played in every department for the East London club bar between the sticks.
A regular scorer for the Hammers throughout the age groups, Henry arrives in Somerset for his first taste of senior football.
Commenting on his latest summer acquisition, Way told YTFC.net: "I'm excited to work with Korrey who's an exciting young talent.
"He's strong, direct and very quick and will add something different to our forward line. Welcome to the club, Korrey."
