Jake Gray has declared Town’s match with Manchester United as a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’.
The midfielder has cemented his place in the side of late with a string of impressive performances and is set to take on some of the best players in the world in the Emirates FA fourth round encounter against the Red Devils.
Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera are all players the ex-Luton Town man could go head-to-head with in midfield, the former someone Gray really wants to face.
“We’re all really excited and you can tell it’s a big one because all the media people are here!” he told iFollow Glovers.
“It’s going to be amazing; the atmosphere is going to be bouncing.
“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity for most of us so we’ve got to try and grab it with both hands. It’s an exciting one for the club.”
Gray added: “I think Pogba is the one we’re looking forward to playing against the most. Hopefully he’s on the pitch because you want to test yourself against the best.
“They obviously have loads of different talent with Matic and Herrera who have different styles of play so whoever we come up against we’re excited.
“It will be my first time against this stature of opponent. Hopefully we can put in a brilliant performance.
“This club has an amazing history in this competition and we’re hoping we can add to that and put Yeovil on the footballing map.
“We just can’t wait to get out there and give a good account of ourselves.”
