Back in action following suspension, Otis Khan is targeting a strong end to the season for the team.

Receiving a five-match ban for a red card received against Chesterfield towards the end of January, the 22-year-old returned to action last weekend at Stevenage.

Town's second top scorer with 10 goals to his name - along with the same number of assists - the former Manchester United youngster is looking to end the 2017/18 campaign on a high.

Speaking to iFollow Glovers, he said: "I want to keep doing well, have a good second half of the season and keep getting goals and assists and help my team mates out and help the team push up (the table).

"Me personally, even if we were at the bottom I would look upwards, there's no point in being negative.

"You've always got to look up and now we know we have a chance to kick on and get away from that (bottom two) so we'll just take each game as it comes and always look up and be positive."

The Glovers face Carlisle United at Huish Park on Saturday (3pm), looking for a first win over the Cumbrians in seven years.

Losing the reverse fixture 4-0 back in November, Khan is looking to exact some revenge on Keith Curle's side.

"The last time we played Carlisle we got beat in a not very nice fashion, so owe them one," he said. "It will be a tough game but we always feel confident at home and you can see the way the boys have playing at home we're doing very well.

"If I play a team earlier in the season and know we got beat in that fashion I’ll always remember it and try and prove a point against them. Now we're at home, we can show them what we’re all about.

"On any given day anyone can beat anyone. I don’t want to get beat off Carlisle, I want to show what we can do and hopefully, that will see us win the game."
