The Yeovil players celebrate the 6th goal at Coventry PPAUK

The Glovers have been awarded the League Managers Association LG Performance of the Week award for the 6-2 victory against Coventry City on Easter Monday.

The LMA’s five-man panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry noted Town's performance on the road in Sky Bet League Two.

Braces from Alex Fisher, Francois Zoko and Sam Surridge secured the memorable win; the first time Yeovil have ever scored six goals on the road in the EFL.

The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,000 competitive matches in professional football.

Town manager Darren Way will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LG Performance of the Week trophy in a presentation to commemorate the result.
