James, Sowunmi and Zoko sweep up awards

Tom James given an award by the Cary Glovers PPAUK

Tom James, Omar Sowunmi and Francois Zoko swept up all of the 2017/18 end of season awards.

Taking place on the Huish Park pitch after the club's last home game of the season against Mansfield, 22-year-old James - who's made 50 appearances during the campaign - picked up the opening Player of the Season award from the Green & White Supporters Club. 

The former Cardiff youngster collected a further three awards, being named the Cary Glovers Player of the Season, the Bobby Hamilton Young Player of the Year and the Disabled Supporters Association's runner-up. 

After an impressive season at the heart of Town's defence, Sowunmi was named Player of the Season by both the Western Gazette and Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust. 

Rounding off the awards, captain Zoko picked up a third consecutive Andy Stone Memorial Trophy (awarded to the top scorer) for his 15 goals thus far, was named the DSA's Player of the Season and claimed YTCST's FA Community Champion award for his efforts in the local community.
