Town striker Brandon Goodship believes his second spell at Huish Park has a different feel.
The former Bournemouth frontman enjoyed a loan spell with the Glovers last season, as Darren Way guided the club to safety.
However, fast forward a season and the 22-year-old feels the squad’s ambitions only looking in one direction.
He told YTFC’s official YouTube channel: “When I came last season we were rock bottom or one place above rock bottom, but this year the group of lads are looking up rather than down.
“It’s a nice feeling. I’ve watched the last few performances and they’ve played really well. We just need the results to follow.”
Goodship made his first appearance as a permanent Yeovil Town player at Wycombe Wanderers last weekend and is likely to be involved at Blackpool this Saturday.
Able to play anywhere across the front three, the Bournemouth academy graduate is looking forward to a challenging trip to Bloomfield Road.
“It’s another tricky game away from home," he said
"We’re looking to go there and not sit back, we’re looking to take the game to them. We’re looking to take three points.
“It’s a bit of a six-pointer if you like. Both clubs are looking to get up the table but if we win on Saturday it closes the gap and we move up the table again.”
