Four of Town's Under-16s have been offered a scholarship to remain Huish Park.

Already involved in the Academy system, the four were offered their scholarships on Tuesday, December 19th.

Strikers Devon Arnold and Archie Sturdy, midfielder/defender George Calverley and defender Declan Rose will now have the chance to move into the club's Under-18 setup and continue their development in Somerset.

Academy manager Paul Wilson told YTFC.net: "This is always an exciting and at the same time difficult period, with lads being offered deals and some not so.

"We have offered other players the chance to stay longer at the club in order to impress us, but these four boys have already impressed with their good level of performance and understanding.

"There have been many part-time coaches that have worked with these players and we thank them for helping the lads develop during their time at the club."
