CLUB STATEMENT | Flares and smoke bombs

At least one smoke bomb set off at FGR

Yeovil Town Football Club has issued a reminder to supporters that flares and smoke bombs are strictly prohibited items under the Football Ground Regulations.

During the event at Forest Green Rovers, at least smoke bomb was reported to have been set off inside the New Lawn.

The club has been contacted by the police, so any future misdemeanors could result in a fine or harsher penalties from the Football Association.

Anyone caught using or being in possession of a flare or smoke bomb – attempting to enter a stadium, lighting it, holding it or throwing it – will be passed over to the authorities and will instantly receive a ban from Huish Park.
