Bailey announced as captain

Yeovil Town Football Club is pleased to announce James Bailey as captain for the 2017/18 season.

The 28-year-old has wore the armband throughout pre-season and been handed the responsibility for the forthcoming campaign which begins on Saturday at Luton Town.

A summer signing from Carlisle United, Bailey arrived in Somerset having featured in all three divisions of the EFL during his time with Crewe Alexandra, Derby County, Coventry City, Barnsley and the Cumbrians.

He also has experience of playing in India and Canada.

Bailey will lead the Glovers out for the first time officially at Kenilworth Road this weekend.
