TRAVEL ADVICE FOR GOOD FRIDAY TRIP TO NEWPORT

12 April 2017

Town supporters travelling to Newport County on Good Friday should be aware of the following travel instructions and recommendations for pre-match facilities.

Due to ongoing roadworks surrounding Rodney Parade, supporters travelling to the game by car are advised to leave the M4 at junction 25A and follow signs for City Centre Car Parks.

From there, it’s a short walk across the Millennium Bridge to Gate 6 at the ground which will rule out being caught in any traffic delays due to the roadworks.

The coach station and train station are also a short walk from the ground, with ample signage for directions.

Within the city centre, The Lamb on Bridge Street is happy to accommodate Glovers fans and is a short walk to the ground, once again via the Millennium Bridge.

Rodney Parade has a dedicated away supporters facility within the away section of the ground, with a bar and BT Sport/Sky Sports. Tea, coffee and hot food is also available from an outlet, with the ground open from 1.30pm or shortly before.

Safe travels and we look forward to seeing the travelling Green and White Army in South Wales!
