Yeovil Town are looking forward to welcoming Paralympian Giles Moore to Huish Park for Saturday’s match against Cheltenham Town as Guest of Honour.
The lifelong Glovers supporter returned from the Paralympic Games in Rio earlier this week having helped GB’s seven-a-side team to a fifth-place finish in Brazil, playing every minute of their four fixtures.
After narrowly going down 2-1 in the group stages to eventual gold and bronze medallists Ukraine and Brazil, GB recovered to beat Ireland 5-1 before sealing fifth place with a 2-0 win against Argentina.
Giles visited Darren Way and the first team in August before heading to South America and will now be a part of matchday at Huish Park on Saturday as Guest of Honour.
Everyone associated with Yeovil Town Football Club would like to congratulate Giles on his achievements with the Team GB seven-a-side squad.
