TEAM NEWS AHEAD OF TOWN'S TRIP TO CREWE ALEXANDRA

20 October 2016

Darren Way has confirmed that defender Liam Shephard is set to return from injury at Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.

The Swansea loanee has missed the last three matches through injury, but Way confirmed the 21-year-old is likely to be back in contention for selection.

“Sheps (Liam Shephard) has trained all week so he’s good; we’re waiting on Butch (Matt Butcher) as to whether he’ll be available to play.”

Last weekend saw the Glovers welcome back Francois Zoko, Tom Eaves and Ryan Dickson after injury and illness, something which has pleased the Town manager.

“The squad is the strongest I’ve had since I’ve been a manager which helped on helped on Saturday, to have the firepower to change dynamics of the game.

“The Players respect each other and know that because we’re winning they’re going to have to work harder to get their place back in the team. No player within this group don’t want us to win though, which is a good thing for us to have.”
