GEOFF HARROP GOIN NOWHERE ACCORDING TO ACADEMY CHAIRMAN

Following rumours of Academy Manager Geoff Harrop joining Torquay United Academy Chairman Andy Rossiter has released the following statement.

Rossiter said: "We have had no official approach for the services of Geoff from Torquay United.

"Geoff is doing a fantastic job managing our academy set-up and has a further year to run on his contract.

"Despite the reports in the media Geoff was appointed independently and was not appointed through former manager Paul Sturrock."
