Glovers supporters making the 660-mile round-trip to Carlisle on Saturday will be able to enjoy a donation from Darren Way and the first team squad.
With Town’s supporters making the longest journey in the entire Football League this weekend, the gaffer, Terry Skiverton and the 18-strong matchday squad have all donated money to allow fans to enjoy a pie and a pint in the Away Bar.
Situated in the concourse, vouchers with a value of £300 will be put behind the bar to enable the travelling faithful to enjoy refreshments at Brunton Park.
Having donated towards the vouchers, the manager was keen to give something back to the supporters making the journey to Cumbria.
“The fans are showing huge commitment and dedication to support us at Carlisle this weekend and it’s important we give something back for that.
“Their support really highlights the ethos of ‘Achieve By Unity’ so I know the players and myself felt it important to show our appreciation with them travelling virtually the length of the country to follow us.”
Vouchers will be available from the Away Bar from 1.30pm on a first come, first served basis – thank you for your support.
