Yeovil Town have secured the loan signing of central defender Shane Duffy.
The 21-year-old Irishman joins the Glovers on an initial month loan from Premier League outfit Everton.
Duffy has represented Northern Ireland at all youth team levels but in 2010 he opted to represent Republic of Ireland and has done at Under 19 and Under 21 level.
In 2011 Shane spent time on loan at Burnley and Scunthorpe United, but was recalled to the Merseyside club in January 2012. He made his Premier League debut as a substitute against Spurs at White Hart Lane.
Gary Johnson said: “When we knew Shane was available for loan we immediately enquired about bringing him to Huish Park.
“With one of our centre backs injured and another suspended we didn’t want to turn down the opportunity of signing Shane.
“This signing suits all parties and as always we are very grateful to Everton Football Club.”
Shane will wear squad number 15 during his stay at Huish Park.
