The 13-year-old, who signed for Town earlier this week, will double up his role as goalkeeper for the Green and Whites with mascot duties on Saturday afternoon.
Battling a very rare form of leukaemia, Daryl came to the attention of manager Darren Way after demonstrating resilience and an unbelievable level of positivity during his ongoing treatment, after successfully undergoing a second bone marrow transplant.
A full video of Daryl’s day at Huish Park earlier this week can be watched here, with Daryl being revealed to his new home faithful ahead of kick-off on Saturday afternoon before taking to the pitch for the pre-match warm-ups alongside goalkeeper coach Sam Shulberg and fellow ‘keepers Artur Krysiak and Jonny Maddison.
Everyone at Yeovil Town Football Clubs looks forward to welcoming Daryl to Huish Park for his first matchday.
