A chance visit to Yeovil Town Football Club resulted in a local business providing new carrier bags for the club shop.

Practical Car & Van Rental franchisee Julian Rinaldi was buying his son a new home kit on a recent visit.

”I thought it would be a great opportunity to supply the club with some bespoke carrier bags befitting the club shop” said Julian, who has owned the Practical Car & Van Rental franchise in Axminster for over 20 years and opened a second branch in Crewkerne around six years ago. 

“I had a chat with Colette in the the club shop and offered to provide them”. The result is a special design carrying the logos of both Yeovil Town Football Club and Practical Car & Van Rental, which Julian believes creates a professional image for the club shop. 

“The club are on the up and I am happy to be able to improve the service and customer satisfaction when making people are making a purchase”. In addition ,there is a bonus for anyone buying in the club shop – 10% off their next vehicle rental with the voucher provided inside the bag.

Commercial Manager Dave Linney said: "We are very grateful to Julian for the supply of the bags. The 5p charge for the bags will be donated to the EFL official charity Prostate Cancer UK”
