The Glovers are delighted to confirm that Nathan Smith has agreed terms and put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension.

Defender Smith returned to Huish Park for his second spell with Yeovil at the beginning of the 2014/15 season and recently made his 200th appearance for Darren Way’s side.

Nathan said: “First of all I would like to thank my family, friends, staff at Huish Park and of course the fans for the support they have all showed me during the tough and good times.

“I am delighted to have signed for another year. It has been refreshing with the new ideas that the gaffer has put into place. It has helped form a strong unity in the changing room amongst the players and it has become an enjoyable place to come and work again.

“I am already looking forward to the season ahead and helping the club achieve something special.”

Darren Way said: “Nathan has been an unbelievable servant to this football club. We all know his attributes as a player and he is certainly a player that I know I can trust.

“As soon as Nathan walks into the ground for training he is leading by example and is a player that others look up to.”
