The 22-year-old goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup third round clash with Bradford City at Huish Park having signed on the dotted line.

Lewis Wing of Middlesbrough

Becoming a Glover for the rest of the 2017/18 season, Wing arrives in Somerset with a goal scoring reputation.

The attacking midfielder netted just shy of 60 goals in two seasons at Shildon, leading to Boro snapping him up for their Under-23s.

Fresh from a 30-goal season in Northern League Division One, the exciting prospect impressed at the Riverside to earn himself a new deal until 2019.

Wing made his Middlesbrough debut in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Scunthorpe United before playing a key role in the third round win over Aston Villa.
