Yeovil Town welcome supporters back to Huish Park for competitive action for the first time since February 2020 as Maidenhead United visit Huish Park.
After victory on Saturday against King’s Lynn Town, attention turns to Maidenhead who have enjoyed a successful season in the National League this time out.
Following a season of struggle in 19/20, West Ham legend Alan Devonshire has guided the Magpies to 14thplace, with games in hand on the teams around them.
Darren Sarll’s thoughts
Speaking after victory over King’s Lynn Town, Sarll said; “(Luke) Wilkinson should never have been playing, like Lawson (D’Ath) against Aldershot, he put himself in harms way and got a bang on his knee. He could be done for Tuesday.
“We felt it was important after not scoring in three games, that we had a positive response and worry about Tuesday when it comes round. Wilkinson is up there with the very best players in our squad, he’s a great guy and the fact that he put himself out there was great.
“Watching him, I forgot Lawson had been out for three months, then I saw him stretching in the 87th minute, I was initally going to take (Tom) Knowles off, but thought I better get Lawson off.
“I thought he was incredible, and what he does, something we’ve missed a lot this year, he brings calm to the chaos, and if he can’t turn out naturally, he creates a way of doing it anyway. Doing that, it can turn the momentum of games in your favour as when the ball lands with Lawson, he’s going to retain the ball and allow the team to change shape.”

Yeovil Town will remain without Alex Bradley, after an unsuccessful appeal, he will serve the second game of his suspension against the Magpies.
Wilkinson nursed his way through 90 minutes on Saturday against King’s Lynn but told fans on Twitter that he thinks he should be fine to go again on Tuesday evening.
Josh Staunton remains a long-term absentee, whilst D’Ath made his full return in a starting berth against the Linnets.
Young midfielder Toby Stephens enjoyed a third cameo appearance on Saturday afternoon and will be hoping for his first in front of the Yeovil Town supporters on Tuesday evening.
A foot in the opposition camp
The 2020/21 season has been a step in the right direction for Maidenhead, after narrowly staying up on PPG in the last campaign, the Magpies have made real strides in their 150th year. A lot of this improvement can be attributed to the goals of Danilo Orsi-Dadomo & Sam Barratt, the two forwards have been on fire this season combining for a total of 32 pages between them. In his last game, Barratt struck three times against promotion hopefuls Hartlepool United, whilst Orsi-Dadomo was also on the scoresheet.
Former Glovers in the side include Shaun Donnellan who scored against Town last season for Woking.
