Yeovil Town return to Huish Park after four weeks away as Dover Athletic are the visitors on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

This is the second time the two sides have met this season, after a cup thriller in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round.

After a disappointing night on Wednesday evening with defeat to Maidenhead United, the Glovers will be desperate to make amends on Saturday afternoon.

Darren Sarll’s thoughts

Looking ahead to Saturday’s clash, Sarll said; “The manager’s tough (Andy Hessenthaler), he’s an experienced football man and his teams reflect his personality.

“I’ve never had an easy game against a Hessenthaler team. When he was manager at Leyton Orient, they were tough games and so were the ones against his Gillingham team.

“It will be a tough game, especially off the back of Wednesday night, which I’m disgusted by, we know there needs to be a very good performance tomorrow.”

Team news

After limping off on Wednesday evening, Charlie Lee will not be involved on Saturday, Carl Dickinson will also be unavailable due to a suspension meaning new signing Michael Kelly could be in line for his first start for the club. .

Emmanuel Sonupe, Lawson D’Ath and Luke Wilkinson will sit out due to recent injuries. Long term absentee Josh Staunton remains unavailable for selection.

A foot in the opposition camp

Dover have struggled for form this season after financial trouble off the pitch as the season began.

Sarll is always highly complimentary of Dover manager Hessenthaler’s teams as he prepares to battle with Dover for the fourth time in his Yeovil Town career.

Arsenal loanee Tom Smith was Dover’s star man when the two sides met in the FA Cup, making numerous saves to earn Dover a penalty shootout. However, the shotstopper has recently returned to the Emirates meaning the Whites will be looking for somebody else to step up when it counts.
