29th November 2019

After an exciting encounter in September, Yeovil Town meet Bromley for the second time this season with a trip to Hayes Lane on Saturday (3pm).

With both sides pushing for promotion, Saturday’s clash sets up to be an enthralling affair, with victory potentially taking Town up to second.

The last time the sides met, the green and whites were the form side in the division, but with both sides enduring a slight drop in results, victory could be a crucial turning point in either sides season.

Head-to-Head

The Glovers have a history of good fortune against Bromley, with Town boasting ten wins to Bromley’s one.

Earlier this season, Yeovil came out on-top in a thrilling encounter at Huish Park in front of almost 4,000 fans thanks to goals from Jimmy Smith, Charlie Lee and a Marc-Anthony Okoye own goal.

Prior to this season, the most recent meeting between the two sides since April 1997 when a Howard Forniton double was enough for Town to return to Somerset with three points.

The most memorable victory with Saturday’s visitors came in February 1996 as Huish Park hosted a seven-goal thriller which Yeovil came out with a 4-3 victory.

Officials

Daniel Middleton will be the man in the middle on Saturday, refereeing his second Yeovil game of the season, previously taking charge of the 3-1 victory vs Woking at Huish Park.

Middleton will be assisted by Gary Jerden and Steven Parmenter with Craig Simpson acting as the fourth official.
