Yeovil Town return to Huish Park on Saturday afternoon (3pm) to face Woking.

After back-to-back defeats on the road, Darren Sarll will be hoping his side can return to form at Huish Park, where Town haven’t lost since December.

The visitors Woking have endured an inconsistent season and currently sit in 18th, but have games in hand on the teams around them and will see Saturday’s game as an opportunity to climb the table.

Darren Sarll’s thoughts

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Sarll spoke about wanting to keep the season going as long as possible in the hope of seeing the Yeovil Town fans again; “To me, we’re working for the fans to be here.

“The longer I can make this season go on for, the more chance I have of getting everybody back in this ground.

“I know they’re not here now, but it’s a huge motivation of ours.”

Team news

Despite limping off against Sutton, Sarll was optimistic that Matt Worthington will be involved “in some form” on Saturday afternoon.

Billy Sass-Davies will be available for the game after having his loan deal extended.

Long term absentees Josh Staunton, Luke Wilkinson & Lawson D’Ath remain unavailable.

Minutes silence

Prior to kick-off, there will be a minutes silence in memory of Glenn Roeder who sadly passed away recently. Roeder worked closely with Sarll during his time at Stevenage.

A foot in the opposition camp

Since taking over in 2018, Alan Dowson has reinvigorated the Cards.

Following relegation to the National League South, Dowson picked up the reigns and sent the Cardinals back to the National League at the first time of asking.

The star man for the visitors is a familiar face, being former Glovers loanee, Jamar Loza. Since rejoining from King’s Lynn, Loza has three goals and will be looking for more as he returns to a Huish Park.
