Another week of football action has passed and both of Yeovil Town’s loan stars have been in action.

Starting in League One and Sam Foley has extended his spell with relegation threatened Shrewsbury Town this week and regained his place in the starting line up.

Foley, playing in an attacking midfield role clocked up another 90 minutes in the Shrews’ 1-0 defeat at Walsall on Saturday.

Craig Westcarr scored the only goal of the game for the Saddlers, however, Westcarr was later shown a red card following an altercation with Foley late on.

The result leaves the Shrews joint bottom of SkyBet League One.

Dropping into non-league and the other player Yeovil have out on loan, Joey Jones had a much better week with his temporary club, Woking.

On Wednesday, in the Surrey Senior Cup Semi Final, Jones returned to the starting line up after a spell on the bench.

Woking went on to win 7-1 against local side, Egham Town.

Unfortunately, Jones was substituted in the 18th minute with a minor injury.

However, he returned for the match on Saturday against Wrexham in the Skrill Premier where he made much more of an impact.

Jones was awarded Man of The Match on the day and scored the winning goal in a 2-1 victory.
