Currently, the Glovers have three members of the squad out on loan and we take a look at how they have been getting on.

Starting with Sam Hoskins, the attacker has been involved in two games with Vanarama Conference leaders Barnet and he’s been on the winning side twice.

On his debut a week ago, he scored within a minute of coming off the bench in an emphatic win over Altrincham.

After his debut goal, he went on to make his way into the starting line-up as the Bees got a dramatic late winner against Forest Green Rovers. He was replaced in the 78th minute by new loanee Alfie Pavey.

No goal for Hoskins this time but the winner did come from another former Glover, Bondz N’gala.

Hoskins will be hoping to keep his place in the starting eleven this Tuesday when Barnet travel to Braintree.

Following his debut Hoskins told the Barnet Official Website:

“The competition at Yeovil is very high and there are a few good strikers there so chances have been hard to come by. This move will definitely be good for me if I can get myself in the team, play well, score some goals and push on from there.”

Secondly, young defender Calvin Brooks has this week joined local side Weymouth on a short term deal to get some match fitness.

Brooks, who has been on the bench for the Glovers this season without yet making a competitive appearance, joined up with the Terras ahead of their FA Cup qualifying match with Bideford Town.

He started on the bench in the Claret and Blue’s convincing 4-1 victory.

On signing for Weymouth, Terras boss Jason Matthews told the Dorset Echo, “We are really pleased that Yeovil are helping us and hopefully we can give Calvin some games. We need some cover at centre-half at the minute and Calvin fits the bill…”

He, like Hoskins will have the chance to make his way into the first team this coming week, Weymouth face Poole Town this coming Tuesday. Interestingly, Brooks could face his brother, Marvin who plays for Poole.

Since joining Weymouth Brooks has tweeted: “@C_Brooks_4  Felt so good to get playing again yesterday”

Finally, Adam Morgan remains on loan at St Johnstone in Scotland but has been restricted to substitute appearances for the most part.

That includes his 53rd minute entrance in their clash with Dundee United on Saturday.

As the three loanees continue to rack up appearances, wins and goals we’ll do our best to keep you updated with their progress here on YTFC.net
