In Evo-Stik League Southern Premier, Ollie Bassett couldn’t help Dorchester Town avoid a 4-2 defeat at Redditch United.

Having fallen behind early on, the 19-year-old almost netted the equaliser with a curling effort that flew just over the bar. 

All six goals were scored in a frantic first-half with the Magpies unable to find a way back in to the match despite Bassett completing 90 minutes. 

Elsewhere, Joe Lea was an unused substitute for Gosport Borough in their 2-1 defeat to Wealdstone in National League South.
