Last Saturday, only one of Yeovil loanees was in action, with Woking having a free date it was left to Sam Foley to fly the Glovers’ flag for his temporary club.

Shrewsbury were hosting Bradford City and the Shrews gained a vital three points thanks to a last gasp winner.

Foley was again in starting line-up, his fifth consecutive start for the Blues before being substituted midway through the second half.

It was his replacement, debutant Shaun Miller who netted the last gasp winner.

Foley was described as being ‘active and positive’ during the game by supporters and he had at least two shots that tested the Bradford ‘keeper.

Foley and his Shrewsbury side will be hoping to build on that win this Tuesday night when they travel to face Carlisle United.

Joey Jones has had a week of recovery with Woking having not played since last Monday night, but the games start coming thick and fast for the defender on loan at the Skrill Premier side.

It starts this Wednesday in a Surrey Senior Cup tie in which Woking are expected to use a number of first team players to eliminate any rustiness that may have built up.

Following that, on Saturday it’s 16th vs 17th in the Skrill Premier table as Wrexham visit Woking’s Kingfield Stadium.

Jones has so far made six first team appearances, four from the bench.
