The Southampton loanee sits top of Yeovil’s goalscoring charts alongside Francois Zoko and Otis Khan with five goals after netting in the 3-2 win at Chesterfield in midweek.

In Somerset until January, the 20-year-old is determined to help the team in more ways than just scoring, as Darren Way’s side look to equal their best ever start to a season at home on Saturday.

Bidding to go six games unbeaten at Huish Park, Olomola told iFollow Glovers: “I’m just trying to help the team in any way I can.

“Whether that be goals, whether that be assists, whether that be tackling someone, whether that be running all the way back and making a tackle, I just want to help the team to get the win.

“For me, I try to focus on giving performances for the team and helping the team.

“Goals are an added bonus and we’re getting goals from everywhere and that’s a great thing.”

The young striker is averaging a goal every two games for the Green and Whites and has scored in all three of Town’s victories this season.

However, Olomola is keen to avoid complacency after victory in Derbyshire on Tuesday night.

He said: “It starts from Colchester, the one thing we can’t afford to do is be complacent. We have to go out there and go again.

“In this league, one win shoots you straight up there (in the table) so we know that and we’re trying to get as many points on the board as possible.

“The fans are great here, they get behind us and I can’t wait to hopefully give them three points.”

Tickets remain on sale online and via the Huish Park ticket office in person or by calling 01935 847888. Don’t forget that kids can enjoy the match for just £1 this weekend!
