The 21-year-old returned to full training this week following a near three-month period on the sidelines with an ankle problem.

Former Barnsley man Khan scored seven times in all competitions prior to his injury and boss Darren Way can’t wait to have him at his disposal.

“We’ve had Otis Khan training so that’s a real positive,” he told YTFC.net.

“He’s definitely someone I’m looking to get in the team as soon as possible.”

Nathan Smith is also back on the training ground but Way is unsure on the defender’s return date.

He said: “We have to make the right decision on whether he’s good enough to be involved in a competitive fixture.”

Alex Lawless (hamstring) is still out, while Darren Ward (knee) won’t play again this season.
