Yeovil Town Ladies are delighted to confirm the appointment of Jennifer Jones as Marketing and Match Promotions Officer.

Since completing her honours degree in Marketing & Advertising at the University of Coventry, Jennifer has spent two years building upon her marketing career both agency and client-side. Working with globally recognised technology brands, she has built online and digital marketing strategies, managed & organised events across the UK & Europe, and has a strong focus on generating leads & increasing brand awareness. Aside from marketing, Jennifer is a sports orientated individual with an extremely strong passion for football.

She has played Futsal and 11-a-side from a young age for teams such as the Wiltshire Centre of Excellence, Coventry University LFC, Swindon Supermarine LFC and more recently, Bristol based team St Nicholas Ladies. Jennifer is now looking forward to coupling her marketing skills with her knowledge of football to develop the Yeovil Town Ladies brand, creating campaigns that will result in the club getting the support, fans and following it deserves.

Commenting on her appointment Jones said ‘I am so pleased and incredibly excited to be at the forefront of marketing for top-flight team Yeovil Town Ladies. Having followed women’s football all my life and the FA WSL since its debut 3 years ago, I now feel honoured and humbled to be part of it. A dream of mine has been to work within football marketing as I am very passionate about boosting the profile of the women’s game so it receives the recognition it merits.’

Commenting for the Club, Chairman David Mills said “Our Marketing and Promotions strategy plus Fan Engagement  is a key part of our FA WSL Business plan so we needed to find someone we thought could push the boundaries of what we do in those areas. We had lots of great candidates but Jennifer showed us she could deliver that extra 1% that can make all the difference”.

Jones formerly starts her role on 1st January.
