Yeovil Town will be without Middlesbrough loanee Jack Robinson for four to six weeks due to an injury sustained in our FA Cup clash with Yate.

Since signing on loan, the 20-year-old has made 11 apps in all competitions, and scored in the fixture against Yate which saw him pick up an injury.

Speaking after Saturday’s victory, Yeovil Town manager Darren Sarll confirmed the extent of the injury; “Unfortunately last week Jack Robinson caught a cross on the end of his toes and opened his ligaments up.

“I would have thought he’d be at least four to six weeks away. He’s been brilliant for us, obviously we wish him a speedy recovery as we’d like him back.”

The Glovers’ hard-fought victory over Eastleigh saw a number of players pick up war wounds, meaning Sarll was forced into a number of substitutions.

“All of them (the substituted players), were injuries. Charlie Wakefield came off after he was struggling with a dead leg at half-time. He did try to carry on, but when a player is running like he’s got a stone in their shoe, it’s normally a sore one.

“Matthew (Worthington) was the same, Knowlesy (Tom Knowles) was similar too, he’d just been down injured, so we whipped him off.

“I thought those three were excellent. Wakefield has been an outstanding signing.
