The 19-year-old met his new team-mates on Friday night after arriving on loan from Tottenham, before coming off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Blackpool.
Harrison, who comes highly rated by Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, was thrilled to take to the field for the first time as a Town player.
“I’m excited, I couldn’t wait to get started. It’s a big move for me and I’m delighted to join the Club.
“I’m really proud (to make my debut), it’s very different to what I’m used to but as time goes on I’ll get better and learn from the lads.”
The young striker replaced goal scorer Francois Zoko on 77 minutes before Town’s Ryan Dickson had to be stretchered off with a broken nose.
Having never enjoyed a loan spell away from White Hart Lane, Harrison is relishing the challenge of senior and League Two football.
“It was everything I expected, to be honest,” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel. “I’m looking forward to the challenge, especially the physicality side of it, and I’m sure as time goes on I’ll get better.
“I thought we deserved to win, we looked the better side throughout the game. The lads showed great desire to keep pushing on and want to score more.”
Harrison played wide on the right of a front three at Bloomfield Road, and is confident he’ll slot into the Glovers system after talking with manager Darren Way.
“I’m feeling very confident,” he said. “Especially after speaking to the gaffer, he’s given me a lot of confidence.
“He’s allowed me to play with a lot of freedom which is all I can ask for. I’m definitely going to improve.
“Through the middle or on the right, I’m familiar with both positions. I’ll be able to adapt quickly to that and push on from there.”
The youngster follows in the footsteps of previous Tottenham loanees Ryan Mason, Steven Caulker and Andors Townsend who all went on to play for Spurs and England, something Harrison is fully aware of.
"I definitely think it’s the perfect move for me with all those lads going on to play for their country and in the Premier League, so it’s definitely a fantastic move for me."
