Yeovil Town are pleased to welcome the signing of Iffy Allen to Huish Park.

Allen began his career at Fulham, where he remained for one year before joining Barnet in 2012. While at Barnet the winger spent time on loan at Kingstonian, Redhill and Wingate & Finchley.

The 21-year-old has been at Huish Park on trial for a month and has impressed the management team enough to earn a one-year deal.

Manager Paul Sturrock said: “Iffy came to us with no real background after a spell at Barnet, where he only played a few games.

“He is a very exciting winger and his potential is huge, he showed glimpses of his potential against Torquay in the friendly last week.

“Iffy knows where the goal is and likes to get crosses into the box, there is no substitute for pace a guile. We have have taken a chance on him and it is up to him to force himself into the team.

“I have watched him in training over the past month and that is where I see and learn most things about the players, he is not the finished article by a long shot.

"I am excited by what I have seen in the games and training and I believe I can mould him into a exceptional player.”
