Yeovil Town striker Paddy Madden has been called up for the Republic of Ireland international squad.
Last season’s League One top scorer was watched at Huish Park by Republic of Ireland’s assistant manager Marco Tardelli on Saturday.
The match versus Wales will take place on Wednesday 14th August in Cardiff.
Paddy will travel to Wales tomorrow where he will join up with the squad ahead of the game on Wednesday.
Speaking exclusively to ytfc.net the ecstatic Madden said: “I am so proud to be called up to the squad. This is something I have dreamt about since I was a small lad.
“I know a few members of the squad having played with them at other levels for Ireland. I can not wait to meet up with them all tomorrow and fingers crossed I get to show everyone what I can do.”
Everyone associated with Yeovil Town wish Paddy good luck.
