6th December 2019

After a dramatic draw on the road against Bromley, Darren Sarll’s side look to return to winning ways as FC Halifax Town visit Huish Park on Saturday (3pm).

Following Rhys Murphy’s last gasp equaliser at Hayes Lane, the Glovers now sit in fourth, with Rhys Murphy sitting top of the scoring charts.

The Shaymen have been on a similar run to Yeovil as of late, drawing their last three games and without a win in four, this fixture offers great opportunity for both sides to turn their fortunes.

Looking for a first victory in five matches, Sarll will likely be relieved to see the return of defender Carl Dickinson who has been out with injury for a month.

Head-to-head

Saturday’s clash will be the second meeting between the two sides this season. In August, Town comfortably dispatched the then top of the league Halifax by 0-2 thanks to a Gold Omotayo double.

Before this season, the two sides had not faced each other since the Glovers earned promotion to the Football League in 2003.

In the last clash at Huish Park, Town would be the 3-0 victors thanks to goals from Gavin Williams and a Nick Crittenden double.

Officials

The man in the middle this weekend will be Gary Parsons. This will be his second Glovers match of the season, previously taking charge of our victory away to Aldershot Town.

Parsons will be assisted by Shaun Barry and Robin Cox, with James Robinson acting as the fourth official.
