4th February 2013

The Club received the letter below which we are pleased to reproduce.

Dear all at Yeovil Town

I was a match official guest yesterday for the game v Brentford. It’s the 3rd/4th time I have been over this season as a guest and just wanted to drop a line to say what a lovely experience it always is and what wonderful staff you have at the club. The man on the gate at the car park always greet you with a big cheery smile, welcomes you to Huish Park and thanks you for coming.

The gentleman at the entrance recognises me now as do the staff upstairs in the bar/hospitality area.  They are always so polite, welcoming and cheerful. After the officials had gone downstairs to prepare yesterday us guests opted to have a roast meal, having been pleasantly surprised to be able to pay just £9.95 on the day, instead of having to order in advance.

The food was beautiful, well cooked and flavoursome & what a pleasant man the chef is.

I also had the pleasure of a chat with Norman Haywood yesterday. I remember him from his days at AFCB. I did say to him how impressed I always am with the set up and the warm welcome we receive.

Please pass on my compliments to the chef and your staff who always make it such a pleasant day out and thank you for always providing such lovely hospitality.

Kind regards
