Yeovil Town have today signed 25 year old Polish goalkeeper on a two year contract.

Born in Lodz was a member of the UKS SMS Lodz academy and came to England in 2008 when he signed for Birmingham City in a £60,000 transfer.

After only two hours of a trial at Birmingham City goalkeeping coach Nigel Spink knew he was the real deal. Academy Director Terry Westley described Artur as “A strong character with a massive presence in goal”.

During 2008 Artur  had loan spells in Scotland at Gretna,before going to York, Swansea, Motherwell and Burton Albion where he made 38 appearances.

In 2010 he signed for Exeter City on the completion of his Birmingham City contract where he made 119 appearances before leaving the Devon club at the end of last season.
