1st August 2017

Darren Way’s side host the Cherries in their seventh and final fixture in the build up to the 2017/18 Sky Bet League Two season.

Eddie Howe’s side finished ninth in the top flight last season and head to Somerset for the first time since 2015 when the Dorset outfit took on the Glovers in front of a crowd of 2,422.

Town have made nine summer signings with all but Stephane Zubar likely to feature against Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

Experienced defender Zubar continues to struggle with an injury picked up against Weymouth in mid-July and will be joined on the sideline by Bevis Mugabi who suffered a slight ankle injury against Frome Town 10 days ago.

Artur Krysiak made his first appearance since Easter in the win at Tiverton last Saturday having recovered from a broken foot, whilst Daniel Alfei made his first appearance as an official Town player.

Bournemouth make the short trip from the South Coast having faced Valencia on Sunday, a game in which new signings Nathan Ake, Jermain Defoe and Connor Mahoney all featured.

Adults can take in Town’s final pre-season fixture against Howe’s Premier League outfit for £10 with concessions costing £5 and under-16s able to enter for FREE.
