28th September 2018

Since the narrow opening day defeat at Bury, Darren Way’s side have recorded three straight victories on their travels, picking up wins at Notts County, Grimsby and Newport County.

Scoring 11 goals without conceding, Town will look to continue their impressive run away from Somerset against a Crawley side who sit two points below them in the Sky Bet League Two table.

Yeovil moved into the top six with a 1-1 draw against MK Dons in midweek, but a spot in the play-offs came at a cost.

Norwich loanee Diallang Jaiyesimi was stretchered from the pitch and now awaits scan results, whilst Omar Sowunmi limped off late on to provide a second injury blow.

With both missing the trip to West Sussex, they’ll join Stuart Nelson, James Bailey and Francois Zoko on the sidelines, with Wes McDonald and Gary Warren still battling for fitness.

Having not featured in midweek, Crawley will be looking to make the extra few days rest count and bounce back from defeat at Forest Green Rovers last weekend.

Gabriele Cioffi’s side boast a man in good form in front of goal with summer signing Ollie Palmer netting five goals this season. Former Glovers Lewis Young and Bondz N’Gala will look to get one over on their former employers, too.

Head-to-head
Saturday’s encounter will be the 12th meeting between the two sides.

With six victories to Town’s name, Way’s men will be looking to turn around a run of three straight defeats against the Reds.

The Glovers had previously won five in a row, with the 5-0 romp back in December 2016 the last victory thanks to strikes from Tom Eaves, Ryan Hedges, Francois Zoko and an Otis Khan brace.

A win at the Checkatrade.com Stadium would be a first in three years, following on from Harry Cornick’s winner in 2015.

Officials
Neil Hair will take charge of his second match involving Town on Saturday.

Overseeing the 2-2 draw with Mansfield at Huish Park in August, Mr Hair will be the main in the middle in West Sussex.

He’ll be assisted by Stuart Butler and Bhupinder Gill with Adrian Waters acting as fourth official.
