20th August 2018

Town picked up their first three points of the season at Notts County on Friday with an Alex Fisher hat-trick and Yoann Arquin header seeing the visitors secure a resounding 4-0 win.

The result sees the green and whites move two unbeaten in Sky Bet League Two having picked up a point when Mansfield visited Somerset the week previous.

Hosting the Latics in the first of back-to-back home matches, Darren Way’s side will be keen to build momentum on home soil.

Nursing no fresh injury concerns from their trip to Nottinghamshire the Glovers will welcome back Jordan Green from a three-match suspension.

But Town will still be without Stuart Nelson (calf), James Bailey (knee), Rhys Browne (hamstring), Reece Cole (knee), Shaun Donnellan (thigh) and Francois Zoko (knee).

For Oldham, they head south after also picking up their first win of the season at the weekend.

Former Glovers Sam Surridge and Ishmael Miller were both on target in a 3-1 win over Macclesfield to net their first goals for the club.

With the same tally of four-points, both sides will look to climb higher in the table.

Head-to-head
Tuesday night will be the 19th meeting between the two sides since 2005.

Town boast eight wins to Oldham’s five, with victories in the last two outings.

Back in 2015 goals from Joel Grant and James Hayter were enough to pick up a 2-1 win at Huish Park.

In fact, the Glovers have lost just one of the nine encounters in Somerset.

Officials
The man in the middle on Tuesday night will be John Busby.

Mr Busby oversaw one Town game last season, producing three yellow cards in the 2-0 win against Forest Green Rovers in the Checkatrade Trophy.

In Somerset, he’ll be assisted by Ben Cobb and Paul Lister with Andrew Laver acting as fourth official.
