1st February 2019

The green and whites have had a 10-day break due to last weekend’s trip to Oldham Athletic being postponed, meaning the squad make the trip to Hertfordshire in refreshed fashion.

With the break coinciding with the closure of the January transfer window, Town will also head to the Lamex Stadium with three new arrivals available for selection.

Ryan Seager, Tristan Abrahams and Courtney Duffus have all arrived at Huish Park to bolster manager Darren Way’s options and conclude the six new arrivals for the month.

Adding a further boost, Adel Gafaiti is available for selection after missing the last outing against Lincoln due to a head injury to leave Omar Sowunmi (ankle) as the only absentee.

The Algerian defender’s return will be timely as the Glovers face a Stevenage side looking to hunt down a play-off spot.

Dino Maamria’s side sit in ninth place with 44 points, looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat at home to Forest Green Rovers last time out.

Head-to-head
Saturday will be the 13th meeting between the two sides since the first EFL meeting in 2011.

Town will be looking to claim a fifth win over the Boro and record the double this season.

Alex Fisher and Sessi D’Almeida were on target in a 2-0 win and will now look to avenge last year’s 4-1 defeat at the Lamex Stadium when Seager netted a sole consolation.

Officials
John Busby will take charge of proceedings at the Lamex Stadium.

His 31st game of the season it’ll be the second involving Town having overseen the 0-0 draw with Oldham Atheltic in August.

In Hertfordshire he’ll be assisted by Paul Yates and Declan Ford with Adrian Tranter acting as fourth official.
