Yeovil Town Football Club can confirm that first team goalkeeping coach Gareth Stewart has parted company with the club with immediate effect.

Stewart joined the club in 2010 and during his stay made a total of six appearances for the club.

His last appearance was when he came on for the injured Artur Krysiak against Scunthorpe at Glanford Park when the Polish keeper sustained a nasty gash to his head.

Stewart’s first job was to face a Paddy Madden penalty, which he duly saved.

Manager Paul Sturrock said: “I would like to thank Gareth for his commitment to Yeovil Town Football Club and wish him well in the future.”
