The 23-year-old has been an integral part of Darren Way’s side in the opening months of the campaign, supplying two assists and scoring twice already.
Having won back-to-back Sky Bet League Two fixtures at Huish Park, Dolan is focused on maintaining the momentum away from Somerset.
“Another win on Saturday and we’ll get up near the play-off spots and everything is looking up,” he said. “We looked at where we were last year and we’ve made an improvement so, as I say, we’ve got to keep looking forward and aim as high as we can get.”
Having already picked up both the August and September ‘Goal of the Month’ accolades including the strike from inside his own half against Walsall in the EFL Cup, Dolan is keen to continue his consistent level of performance so far this season.
“I haven’t missed a minute yet so I want to keep performing, that’s what I’m here to do. It’s easy when you’re in a winning team and environment – the Gaffer makes it a great place to be around and everybody on the shop floor and around the Football Club makes it an enjoyable place to be.
“I want to keep going out there, enjoying my football week-in, week-out and hopefully not get any injuries and keep performing.”
The Glovers visit eighth-placed Crewe Alexandra on Saturday and the Town midfielder is hopeful recent home form can be transported to Cheshire.
“We’ve won our last two and four in the last six, which is good form really. We’ve had a few blips – like Plymouth – but we’ve always bounced back and we’ve got three home wins on the spin now.
We’ve got to keep the momentum going and keep looking forward and being positive. Our away form is massive, we’ve won our home games and Huish is turning into the fortress we need so if we can start picking up points on the road it bodes well for us as a club.”
