The Glovers picked up their second league win last Saturday and followed it up with an impressive performance at Exeter City in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Southampton Academy graduate Mugabi missed Town’s first two matches of the campaign due to injury but has played every minute since.

So far, he has operated at centre-back and right-back but says being adaptable is a good attribute to have.

“The two wins we got against Coventry and Exeter in midweek were good,” he told iFollow Glovers

“We’re full of confidence at the moment. We’re playing well, training hard every day and we’re looking forward to Saturday.”

He continued: “I got injured in pre-season which was a setback but I’ve worked hard throughout the last couple of weeks and managed to get myself back in the team so I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

“Being versatile you have more of a chance of being selected to play.

“In this day and age you have to be versatile for managers to select you. I’m just glad I’m playing games.”

Yeovil face Harry Kewell’s Crawley this weekend, who picked up their first three points against Swindon Town a week ago.

The Red Devils are known for their direct approach and Mugabi expects more of the same at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

He said: “They’ve got some big players and will look to get lots of crosses into the box which we’ll have to deal with.

“It’s going to be a difficult game as usual but I’m sure we’ll get the result we need.

“All the boys are really looking forward to Saturday and we’re looking to get three points.”
